Early Modern Crime Bibliography

Bibliography on crime, disputes and disorder, criminal law and courts, punishment, mainly in Britain, western Europe and north America.

The bibliography is the product of almost two decades of studying early modern crime and disorder and has evolved in that time from card indexes to Microsoft Access to specialised bibliography wiki software (2007); its first online form was as an extremely unwieldy HTML page in about 2002. It currently resides in a Zotero group library. It may migrate back to the wiki at some point, but I would need to update the software from the very old and almost certainly insecure version I’ve been using.
